Violencia, fundamentalismo y mesianismo: reflexiones desde la filosofía judía

Abstract

Este artículo busca introducir la relación entre el mesianismo judío y la violencia fundamentalista en la Modernidad. Partiendo del fenómeno del fundamentalismo, desde la perspectiva de la filosofía judía se intenta explicar la construcción del ideal mesiánico y de qué manera este representa diferentes visiones en torno a la relación del uno con el otro y del presente con el futuro. El objetivo de este recorrido es pensar una teología política mesiánica para la construcción del sentido de comunidad en el tiempo por venir.This article explores the relationship between Jewish messianism and fundamentalist violence in Modernity. Starting with the phenomenon of fundamentalism, it attempts to explain, from the perspective of Jewish philosophy, the construction of the messianic ideal and how it represents different visions of the relationship between individuals and between the present and the future. The aim of this exploration is to develop a messianic political theology for building a sense of community in the future.
