The article introduces the notion of world and cosmological difference in Eugen Fink's thinking and analyzes the concept of space in cosmological key as space of the world. First the analysis shows space-time as an event of hatching or opening that generates the field of appearance of the beings and gives them their location. It then explains the notions of dispersion, distension, and instantiation as an essential feature of the original spacing of the space. Finally, it highlights the fundamental convergences between the understanding of space in Fink’s cosmology and the central theses of contemporary scientific cosmology.
