In this article we propose to reconstruct the diagnoses and the intervention of the Communist Party of Argentina in the agrarian world, during the decade of the ‘60s and’ 70s. It is a period of great conflict throughout the Latin American continent, which went through both urban and rural settings. While the former has received attention from the literature that studies political parties, the latter has remained relatively virgin. In this sense, we propose to pay knowledge in that direction, taking as observable a party that, historically, developed a remarkable concern for the agrarian world, both from the theoretical and from its praxis. We analyze here his intervention in the rural labor movement, as well as in some historical agricultural corporations, the Agrarian Leagues and the cooperative movement. In them we highlight a rigorous coherence between the political postulates of the party, which defended the need for a worker-peasant alliance and the realization of an agrarian reform. to solve the problems that impeded the development of the country. We work for this, with sources prepared by the party, both from the pages of its theoretical magazine, Nueva Era, as well as its biweekly newspaper, Nuestra Palabra, as well as congressional sources.
