Controversias y disputas por la actividad offshore en la Argentina contemporánea

Abstract

El artículo analiza la expansión de la frontera hidrocarburífera en el mar, frente a la localidad argentina de Mar del Plata, entre los años 2018 y 2024, y las resistencias colectivas que dieron origen a la movilización llamada Atlanticazo. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, este trabajo realiza un aporte a la discusión sobre los principales nudos problemáticos de la actividad offshore, y la conflictividad ambiental que ha generado en la actualidad.The article analyzes the expansion of the hydrocarbon frontier in the sea, in front of the Argentine town of Mar del Plata, between 2018 and 2024, and the collective resistance that gave rise to the mobilization called Atlanticazo. From a qualitative approach, this work makes a contribution to the discussion on the main problematic knots of the offshore activity, and the environmental conflict that it has generated at present.
