I am interested in knowing if a liberal policy existed from the governments, and the study of the Popular Societies of Education is a new entry to analyze this question, scarcely explored. There are chapters and articles that investigate in a secondary way the Popular Societies of Education. At the same time, it is my first approach to the subject. Therefore, this article is necessarily a sketch and a first panorama of the history of the Popular Societies of Education.
