This contribution examines the university extension practices of the "Popular Economy for the Autonomy of Women in Nuevo Golf" project in four stages. Initially, it describes the geographical characteristics of the Nuevo Golf neighborhood to frame the extension intervention. Next, it outlines the group's stance regarding critical feminist extension and how it takes shape in the territory. Following this, a Marxist concept of popular economy is presented, diverging from the hegemonic paradigm promoted by the State bureaucracy. In turn, the article presents the activities carried out and the achieved results, concluding with the main findings and the challenges that are sought to be overcome through the presentation of a new project.
