This paper outlines the importance of transport infrastructure as a key factor to asses regions’competitiveness and integration into a wider global system of spaces and networks. In this paper we look into the inter-oceanic corridors, which integrates existinginfrastructure and new articulated projects. The Rosario-Victoria Bridge opened duringmid 2003 was part of the bi-oceanic central corridor as an alternative option to the existingcrossings of Zárate-Brazo Largo Bridge and the Hernandarias tunnel. This paper analyses the influence of the Bridge during the first few month of operationupon regional transports and others aspect such as socio-economy, tourism and theenvironment.
