From the materiality of a language imbued with the affects that traverse bodies, El Dock (1993) by Matilde Sánchez and Aparecida (2015) by Marta Dillon construct a singular memory of the past of revolutionary militancy and state terrorism in Argentina in order to posit alternative politics of motherhood and of common life beyond the apparatuses of disciplining, capture and disappearance of bodies. Inscribed in an anachronical present inhabited by residues and remains, the narrations explore new potentials of bodies that do not submit themselves tamely to the roles of the victim, the witness or the obedient and disciplined militant.
