Access to culture, and therefore to heritage properties, is a right of all people. However, in many cases that access is limited by the nature of certain buildings and their conservation needs. What resources do we have when a physical intervention on a historical building or site is essential to achieve full accessibility but “impossible” to perform, either by compromising the values of the building or for economic issues? The aim of this paper is to analyze the benefits of the use of audiovisual resources as a mean of inclusion in situations like the above mentioned, focusing the study on listed buildings functioning as museums.
