El abordaje del Poder en Lukes, Bourdieu y Giddens: Un vínculo social complejo

Abstract

El poder es un vínculo social complejo que se inserta en las preocupaciones fundacionales de la sociología sobre la consolidación del orden. El enfoque radical de Steven Lukes permite dar cuenta de una problemática que adquiere múltiples formas y cuyas consecuencias atraviesan todo el entramado social. A través del poder es posible dar cuenta del carácter interdependiente del mundo social, tal como subrayan las perspectivas contemporáneas. Las prácticas sociales son la intersección entre biografía e historia, suponiendo una combinación entre límites y potencialidades que recorren la teoría social. Con el enfoque radical de Lukes como punto de partida, la propuesta es destacar las preocupaciones y abordajes compartidos con el estructuralismo genético de Pierre Bourdieu y la teoría de la estructuración de Anthony Giddens. El diálogo entre estas perspectivas contemporáneas permitirá enriquecer el debate y destacar la complejidad del objeto de estudio. La reflexividad, los habitus, el conocimiento de los actores y su capacidad para resignificar los elementos culturales disponibles dan cuenta de las múltiples formas que adquiere el fundamento del orden social.The power is a complex social bond that is added in the foundational worries of sociology about the consolidation of the order. The radical approach of Steven Lukes shows the difficulties that acquire numerous ways and whose consequences go through all the social scheme. It is through power that it is possible to account for the independent nature of the social world as contemporary perspectives highlight. The social practices are the intersection between biography and history, meaning a combination between limits and potentialities that go over the social theory. Taking into account Lukes’s radical approach as a starting point, the proposal is to emphasize the worries and approches share with the genetic structuralism of Pierre Bourdieu and the theory of structuralism of Anthony Giddens. The dialogue between these contemporany perspectives will allow to enrich the debate and to highlight the complexity of the object of study. The reflexibility, the habbits, the knowledge of the actors and their ability to signify the available cultural elements show the numerous ways that acquire the grounds of social order.
