The horticultural belt of La Plata (CHP) is characterised by the presence of a horticultural production-commercialisation model linked to the use of greenhouse technology and long sales channels, in which several intermediaries participate. In contrast to this model, some agroecological producers, belonging to a socio-territorial movement, develop and implement various territorial strategies to consolidate and expand agroecology in the CHP. Therefore, in this paper, based on a methodology that combined a reading and literature review and the results of participant observations and semi-structured interviews with participants of the Federación Rural para la Producción y el Arraigo, we inquired about these strategies and their implications. As a result, we understand that, thanks to the implementation of these strategies, agroecology in the CHP is incipiently territorialised, de-territorialising the dominant horticultural production-commercialisation model.
