In the framework of social cognitive neuroscience the research of mindfulness had raised increasingly in the past decades. Mindfulness, also known as full attention or full consciousness, is defined as the psychological capacity to be entirely present with the own experiences, without judgements, with acceptance, curiosity and openness. Plus the evidence centered in clinical population, thera are also many studies in childhood samples wich indicate that the practice of mindfulness stimulates attention, inhibition, emotional self-regulation, cognitive flexibility, theory of mind and social abilities. Aim: to evaluate the impact of a mindfulness training program, assessing the tranference effects on theory of mind, inhibition and cognitive flexibility, as well as the permanence in time of those effects, in a simple of 60 preschoolars from 4 to 6 years old. Method: quasi experimental design pre-post with an active control group, mixture factorial design of two measures (pre and post training) of the mentioned variables in both groups. The relevance of thestudy is emphasized through its contribution to the promotion of the development ofprosocial dispositions and the prevention of impulsive behaviors that allow to guarantee the adequate social functioning of this age group.
