Subjective Well-Being is often defined as the evaluation made by the person of his life and includes: (a) affective reactions (happiness, joy, etc.) and (b) cognitive judgments (assessments of life satisfaction). The Life Satisfaction can then be considered as the assessment (cognitive judgment) of Subjective Well-Being that takes the person about their lives in the here and now. Objectives: 1) To deepen models and concepts of life satisfaction from an ecoevaluative perspective; 2) To present the psychometric properties of the adaptation of the Satisfaction With Life Scale for a young adult sample from Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). Instrument: Satisfaction With Life Scale. 287 participants (83.30 % female) with a mean age of 23.01 (SD =4.89). The scale shows good internal consistency and evidence of internal validity. It can be consider this as the first step in the process of adaptation of the scale. Implications and limitations of its evaluation in the region are discussed
