Resumen
This dataset contains the results of weekly HS-SPME-GC-MS monitoring of volatile organic compounds emitted by cellulose acetate photographic negatives artificially aged for eight weeks at 50 and 80 °C and 10% and 100% relative humidity, with a control at 22 °C and procedural blanks aged in parallel. It includes the integrated and net chromatographic areas of each identified compound per run, with its similarity index and retention time; the list of identified compounds; the condition–week means; and the results of the principal component analyses (explained variance, scores and loadings). The data were generated as part of the doctoral thesis of Rocío López (CONICET) at the Centro de Estudios sobre Patrimonios y Ambiente (UNSAM), to assess the effect of temperature and humidity on the volatile profile of negatives and compare it with that of historical negatives.
