In this paper, the durability of concretes made with a water-to-cementitious material ratio of 0.40 to 0.60 and blended ternary cements with calcined illitic clay and calcareous filler are studied. The water permeability through sorptivity and water penetration under pressure, carbonation and chloride migration coefficients were assessed. Additionally, the sulfate resistance was evaluated on mortars. Complementary, the sustainability of the concretes was evaluated considering durability parameters. The results indicate that concretes made with blended ternary cements with high limestone filler content have higher values of water permeability, carbonation and chloride migration coefficients, and that sulfate resistance increases with the increase of calcined clay in the blended ternary cement. Finally, the most sustainable concretes are those that reduce CO2 equivalent emissions per m3 of concrete and the presence of calcined illitic clay and limestone filler does not negatively affect durability.
