The present work is inscribed in a dissenting reading of the theoretical-political frameworks of what is known as a critical theory of capitalist society, either in its orthodox Marxist aspect, as well as in the post-Marxist and post-identity approaches that were born in the heat of a subsumption of all social relations to the logic of capital. A proximity between some theoretical elements of contemporary accelerationist theory and the approach of the philosophical movement of speculative realism will be assumed, in order to expose the dangers of taking a hyperconstructivist approach to reality in the face of the appearance of a microscopic infectious agent such as COVID -19, as well as the moralization of capitalism as a midwife of all the injustices and evils that afflict society.
