With different educational proposals, the technical-professional modality in Argentina aimed to incorporate young people from the most disadvantaged social sectors and to promote the country's industrial culture. One of the traditional institutions in this field, founded at the end of the 19th century, was the Otto Krause Industrial School, which was later transformed into a Polytechnic Institute in 1949. The objective of this article is to conduct a qualitative analysis of the Otto Krause Technical-Industrial Magazine, published by the institute between 1949 and 1952. Its curriculum channeled the programmatic aspirations of classical Peronism (1946–1955), while also striving to deepen the industrialization process that began in the 1930s, when various actors proposed industrialization as a way to cope with international economic fluctuations and contribute to the country's economic sovereignty.
