The goal of this paper is to present the analysis of material from site Club El Trapiche, located on the eastern slopes of the Sierra de San Luis. The archaeological record comprises lithic artifacts, animal bones, a few pottery fragments, and human remains. Lithic artifacts were mostly made with quartz, widely available near the site. The most common animals were artiodactyls, although the presence of grinding artifacts also indicates the processing and use of plants. The site is considered to be a hunter-gatherer occupation from the final Late Holocene. The paper discusses this site in light of previous research from the central Sierras, particularly with the models proposed for the province of Córdoba.
