This paper presents some perspectives to analyze collective action. On the one hand, that reconstruction allows us to indentify some categories which result very interesting to study different experiences of collective action in Latin America of the endings of 20th century and the beginnings of 21st. On the other hand, the systematization shows the limitations of the principal approaches to understand the heterogeneity and the constant dynamism of identities. In that way, we take some categories of the hegemony theory –worked by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe– to understand the senses of contemporary mobilization.
