In this article we analyze four classroom scenes in which students and teachers use digital technologies to solve, by searching the Internet, doubts that arise in secondary school classes. The aim of the article is to study the forms of circulation of words and knowledge in these scenes, to see negotiations in typical forms of pedagogical communication in the classroom and in the configuration of the roles of teachers and students. The data were collected during a fieldwork with an ethnographic perspective that included, among its activities, participant observation in Language Practices classes in two schools in the southern area of Greater Buenos Aires (Argentina) and the recording of dialogues between participants. For the analysis of the interactions in the classroom, we considered the acts carried out by the participants in their exchanges and took up the categories of (dis)affiliation and (dis)alignment in the interaction, the structure of preferences and the distribution of turns of speech. The results found allow us to review and discuss some circulating ideas that assume that digital technologies and the Internet generate tensions in the classroom and are used to the detriment of the pedagogical authority of teachers, to propose, instead, the emergence of forms of communication in which the literacies of teachers and students are integrated.
