During the period of the project we have made progress in two main dimensions: contact with different areas of the university to elaborate a "state of the question" on the particular situation of foreign students at the university and based on this we elaborate a critical approach to the antecedents on the subject. On the other hand, we have made progress in the knowledge of the trajectories of foreign-born students by applying an online survey. This allowed us to build a typology that should be deepened in future research. Thus, we have confirmed and made more complex our initial hypothesis that pointed to the existence of three possible mobility trajectories resulting in the presence of "foreign students" at the University: a) a migration made with the purpose of studying in national universities (which is usually defined as "qualified migration") b) a migration made for broader purposes (labor, economic, family, residential) that after staying in the country decide to study at the university and c) a third migration of university students who study for a specific period (more than 3 months) within the framework of agreements between universities.
