Territorio usado y finanzas: entidades no bancarias y préstamos personales en la ciudad de Tandil

Abstract

En la ciudad se materializan los diferentes usos del territorio y coexisten divisiones territoriales del trabajo en las que puede reconocerse un circuito superior y un circuito inferior que, diferenciados por el uso de tecnología, capital y trabajo, tienen un papel significativo en el proceso de organización del espacio. El objetivo de este trabajo es comprender el comportamiento del sistema financiero de crédito, representado por las entidades no bancarias, en su papel de intermediación entre el circuito superior, del cual forma parte y el circuito inferior en la ciudad de Tandil. La metodología utilizada se basa en fuentes primarias y secundarias. La búsqueda de información a través de fuentes primarias consistió en un trabajo de campo basado en observación directa en el área de estudio para reconocer las actividades del circuito superior en la ciudad y entrevistas a informantes claves. Con respecto a las secundarias se buscaron trabajos previos realizados sobre la ciudad, el sistema financiero argentino y las entidades no bancarias en la provincia de Buenos Aires y Tandil.

In Tandil there are different uses of territory and labor territorial divisions, where a higher circuit is differentiated from a lower circuit by the use of technology, capital and labor. Both circuits play a significant role in the process of space organization. The aim of this paper is to understand the behavior of the loan financial system, represented by non-bank institutions, as intermediaries between the higher and lower circuits in the city of Tandil. The methodology is based on primary and secondary sources. The search for information through primary sources consisted of interviews to key informants and field work based on the direct observation in the area of study to record higher level activities in the city. With regard to the former, earlier studies on the city, the Argentine financial system and non-banks institutions in Buenos Aires Province and Tandil were explored.
