Resistencia y poesía en las cárceles argentinas 1976-1983: Amandine Guillard, Universidad de Córdoba (Argentina)

Abstract

El artículo presenta la poesía carcelaria como acto de resistencia en el contexto de la última dictadura militar argentina (1976-1983). Más precisamente, muestra por una parte cómo se implementó el terrorismo de Estado, el cual provocó más de 30.000 desaparecidos y 10.000 presos políticos. Por otra parte, desarrolla la idea de que el ejercicio de una violencia sin límites, ya sea en los tormentos impuestos o en la duración de las torturas, dio lugar a diversas formas de resistencia, entre las cuales se encuentra la poesía. Se centra en particular en los poemas compuestos por los presos políticos en las cárceles legales del país. Analizaremos entonces cómo la resistencia se manifiesta en el discurso poético, en particular a través de la afirmación de la identidad, individual y colectiva, y también a través del carácter testimonial de ciertos poemas.

This article deals with the poetry in prisons considered as an act of resistance in the context of the last Argentinian dictatorship (1976-1983). More specifically, it shows how the state terrorism which caused more than 30 000 people to disappear and 10 000 to be imprisoned for political reasons grounded itself . Besides, it shows how the unlimited practice of violence, whether in the nature or the duration of the inflicted injuries, led to numerous forms of resistance, among which poetry is of paramount importance. The article particularly focuses on the poems written by the political prisoners who stayed in the official prisons of the state. We will therefore analyze the way in which resistance is expressed in the poetical language, first through the assertion of individual or collective identity, and then through the testimonial dimension of certain poems.
