El criollismo en el centro bonaerense: las fiestas criollas del Tiro Federal (Tandil 1935-1941)

Abstract

Desde el siglo XIX las celebraciones vinculadas a las tareas rurales fueron recurrentes en el ámbito pampeano. Ciertas tareas se realizaban en un contexto festivo honrando la labor del hombre de campo. En la década de 1930 las fiestas criollas organizadas por el Tiro Federal de Tandil intentaron recrear tradiciones del campo bonaerense. Aquí se aborda las fiestas realizadas por aquella institución entre 1935 y 1941 para analizar la recreación que en ellas se hacía de la labor rural; y las representaciones sobre el criollismo que pueden visualizarse a partir de los distintos eventos que se realizaban durante el festejo.

Since the 19th century the celebrations linked to the rural tasks were recurrent in the pampas. Certain tasks were performed a holiday honoring the work of the rural worker. In the 1930's the creole celebrations organized by the Tiro Federal of Tandil tried to recreate the traditions of the countryside of Buenos Aires. Here deals with parties carried out by the institution between 1935 and 1941 to discuss the recreation that they did farm work; and on the criollismo representations that can be displayed from the various events that are performed during the celebration.
