Cine, comunicación y política en el Grupo Dziga Vertov

Abstract

Este trabajo ofrece una mirada acerca de la película Luchas en Italia del Grupo Dziga Vertov, un colectivo de cine militante francés surgido al calor de las jornadas del Mayo de 1968. El objetivo es poder visibilizar aquello que –en términos de Jacques Rancière– hace política al interior del film. Para esto, también exploraremos el diálogo que el film abre con un texto fundamental para la época: Ideología y Aparatos Ideológicos de Estado, de Louis Althusser. Ahora bien, si nos proponemos dar cuenta de la politicidad del film debemos avanzar sobre un pensamiento con la imagen que logre ir más allá de los aspectos técnicos para poder dilucidar su potencia crítica. Aquí serán fundamentales los aportes del análisis feminista de la imagen. Pensamos que este tipo de análisis es de gran relevancia para indagar en zonas problemáticas donde la Comunicación se intersecta con el arte y la política.

This work offers a regard about the movie Luchas en Italia of the Dziga Vertov Group, a collective of French miltant cinema emerged in the heat of the days of May 1968. The aim is to visualize what –in terms of Jacques Rancière– it does political into the film. For this, we will also explore the dialogue that the film opens with a key to the time text: Ideology and Ideological State Apparatuses by Louis Althusser. Now, if we intend to realize the political nature of the film we must move on a thought with the image that achieves go beyond the technical aspects to elucidate its critical power. Here are key contributions of feminist analysis of the image. We think that this type of analysis is of great importance to investigate problem areas where communication intersects with art and politics.
