Infancia y memoria: Lo recordable a través del tiempo

Abstract

La representación del Proceso de Reorganización Nacional ha sido un tópico recurrente en el cine argentino desde la recuperación democrática en 1983. Existe un consenso entre los investigadores que señalan diversos momentos de memoria u “olas memorialísticas”, caracterizada la iniciada en 2003 por ser el propio Estado el motor de diversas políticas de memoria. Aquí me concentraré en dicho momento con el objetivo de analizar tres largometrajes de ficción: Un mundo menos peor (Alejandro Agresti, 2004), Andrés no quiere dormir la siesta (Daniel Bustamante, 2009) e Infancia clandestina (Benjamín Ávila, 2012). A partir de ellos, analizaré las representaciones de los actores sociales que se presentan, deteniéndome en las diversas estrategias de memoria y de construcción e interpretación del pasado reciente y colocándolas en consonancia con los discursos memorialísticos de su época de estreno, como también con las diversas discusiones sociales y académicas en torno a la última dictadura militar.

The representation of the National Reorganization Process has been a recurring topic in Argentinian cinema since the democratic recovery in 1983. There is a consensus among researchers to think various memory moments, or “memorial waves”, characterized the one initiated in 2003 by being the State itself the engine of different memory policies. In this essay I will concentrate in this moment to analyze Un mundo menos peor (Alejandro Agresti, 2004), Andrés no quiere dormir la siesta (Daniel Bustamante, 2009) and Infancia Clandestina (Benjamín Ávila, 2012). With these productions, I will study the representations of the social actors that the movies present, paying attention to the diverse strategies of memory, and construction and interpretation of the recent past, placing them in consonance with the memorialistic discourses of its time of premiere as well as with the diverse social and academic discussions about the last military dictatorship.
