Since recent sanction of Argentinean laws of Sexual Health and Responsible Procreation and Comprehensive Sex Education, the teaching of these subjects in schools has become compulsory. This highlighted the need of training teachers in the relationship of sexual education and its biological, psychological, social, emotional and ethical aspects. These training areas are designed according to a formal curriculum and leaving aside important aspects of the hidden curriculum. Hence, the aim of our study is to investigate this component of the curriculum that strongly affects what students implicitly learn. We think that if we take into account the teachers’ belief about sexuality, and that these beliefs are part of the teachers’professional knowledge, this will make them modify their teaching practices. We work through dialogic learning communities with teachers, in order to revise those beliefs and their possible impact in their professional practices and the construction of the subjectivities of their students. So far, we have found that many of these teachers’ beliefs are about discrimination in relation to gender, sexual orientation or young people behavior.
