Una aproximación a los sentidos de la neuquinidad (1956-2008)

Abstract

El presente artículo busca exponer algunos elementos para caracterizar las representaciones de la neuquinidad a partir de tres obras poéticas aparecidas en diferentes contextos históricos de la provincia de Neuquén. En la periodización que aquí proponemos, luego de fijar los contornos de una neuquinidad primitiva, expresada en “Neuquina” (1956) de Irma Cuña, intentamos acercarnos a la pugna entre una neuquinidad oficial –plasmada en “Regreso al ayer” (1981) de Marcelo Berbel– y una neuquinidad alternativa o contestataria–retratada por Héctor Kalamicoy en “Introducción a un feo lugar” (2008). Al indagar en la construcción de una estética (y una épica) para la provincia de Neuquén en base a estas tres obras literarias tendremos en cuenta: el lugar de la enunciación; la relación del sujeto enunciador con su tiempo histórico; y, fundamentalmente, la presencia (o ausencia) de antagonismos constitutivos de alteridad y, por ende, de identidad.

This article intends to identify some elements to outline representations of the so called “neuquinidad”, drawing on three poems appeared in different historical contexts of the Neuquén province. In the different periods that we are hereby presenting, we first come up with a primitive neuquinidad, as expressed in “Neuquina” (1956) by Irma Cuña. Then we move on to look into the tensions between the official neuquinidad as it is implied in “Regreso al ayer” (1981) by Marcelo Berbel and the rebel or alternative neuquinidad portrayed by Héctor Kalmicoy in “Introducción a un feo lugar” (2008). When delving into the construction of an aesthetic (and an epic) for the Neuquén province on the basis of these three literary works we are taking into account: the space of enunciation; the relation between the subject of enunciation and her historical setting; and, above all, the existence (or absence) of antagonisms which are constitutive of otherness and, thus, of identity.
