La revolución de la alegría ¿Una articulación populista?

Abstract

Recientemente la alianza Cambiemos logró acceder al gobierno argentino por elecciones e incluso ganar un histórico bastión del peronismo como lo era la provincia de Buenos Aires. En el artículo nos proponemos pensar al partido Propuesta Republicana (PRO) como una identidad que fue construyendo una cadena de equivalencias que consolidó una frontera antagónica con el kirchnerismo y plasmó en una serie de significantes vacíos dicho antagonismo. El artículo retomará este proceso y a su vez deja abierta la pregunta por la forma en la cual evolucionará el discurso y el gobierno del PRO. En otras palabras podríamos preguntarnos si el macrismo es en alguna forma populista. La respuesta tentativa es positiva en tanto la construcción de un discurso antagónico con el kirchnerismo implicó, como se intentará mostrar, una lógica populista de articulación de demandas.

Recently, the Cambiemos alliance gained access to the Argentine government through elections and even gained a historic bastion of Peronism as was the province of Buenos Aires. In the article we propose to think of the PRO as an identity that was building a chain of equivalences that consolidated an antagonistic border with Kirchnerism and shaped in a series of empty signifiers such antagonism. The article will return to this process and in turn leave open the question as to how the discourse and the government of the PRO will evolve. In other words we might wonder if the macrism is somehow populist. The tentative response is positive in that the construction of an antagonistic discourse with Kirchnerism implied, as it will be tried to show, a populist logic of articulation of demands.
