Exclusión / Inclusión: el origen y la persistencia del despotismo por otros medios

Abstract

En este artículo, el autor hace una profunda y personal revisión del concepto de normalidad, desde su creación hasta hoy y sobre cómo influye en las ideas y prácticas de exclusión o inclusión. Para él, el concepto de normalidad surge de un saber seco, especializado, distante, racional, altivo y soberbio que considera fuera del mundo. A ese saber fuera del mundo, opone otro saber más incómodo, inestable, fragmentario, contingente y provisorio que implica una cierta condición de perplejidad e ignorancia que no establece límites ni acepta etiquetas. A lo largo del artículo expone las consecuencias que esa concepción de normalidad tiene, como por ejemplo el hecho de considerar desviación o patología, todo aquello que no queda reflejado en ese idea construida e intangible. Propone rescatar la singularidad y la paciencia para deconstruir ese saber hegemónico de ficción sobre el cuerpo normal, el lenguaje normal, el comportamiento normal o el aprendizaje normal.

n this article, the author offers a deep and personal review of the concept of normality from its origins, and its influences on the ideas and practices of exclusion or inclusion. According to Skliar, the concept of normality arises from a dry, specialized and distant knowledge, which is also rational, haughty and arrogant and that he considers out of the world. To this out of the world knowledge, the author opposes another one, a more uncomfortable, unstable, fragmentary, contingent and provisional status that involves a certain condition of perplexity and ignorance, without limits or labels. Throughout the article, Skliar exposes the consequences of this conception of normality, such as the mere fact of considering deviation or pathology everything that is not reflected in this constructed and intangible idea. Skliar proposes to rescue singularity and patience to deconstruct that hegemonic fictional knowledge on the normal body, normal language, normal behaviour or normal learning.
