El actor entre la dictadura y la posdictadura: corporalidades en pugna en el cine y el teatro argentinos durante el retorno democrático (1983 / 1989)

Abstract

Nos proponemos analizar la actuación en el cine y el teatro del retorno democrático argentino, con el fin de destacar su dimensión política implícita. Merced a la voluntad por representar el pasado reciente, la actuación en los filmes se limitó al realismo. Pero paralelamente, surgieron en el teatro nuevas expresiones de jóvenes artistas basadas en la irrupción del cuerpo y de la sexualidad. Consideramos que este agresivo despliegue de una corporalidad revulsiva, descentrada y joven, constituía una afirmación vital frente al horror de la dictadura. Pero además, estas experiencias reaccionaron a la imposición de un desempeño actoral al servicio de la transmisión de un mensaje, imaginario del "cuerpo productivo" presente en el realismo, pero también en las agrupaciones militantes de los setenta.

We propose to analyze the acting in cinema and theater of the argentine democratic return, in order to highlight its political dimension implied. Thanks to the willingness to represent the recent past, acting in films will be limited to the realism. But at the same time, new expressions of young artists based in the irruption of the body and sexuality emerged in the theater. We believe that this aggressive deployment of a revulsive, offset and young corporality, constituted a vital affirmation before the horror of the dictatorship. In addition, these experiences reacted to the imposition of an acting performance at the service of transmission of a message, imaginary of “productive body” present in realism, but also in groups militants of the 70s.
