¿Cristo guerrillero o Cristo rey? La teología de la violencia en Cristianismo y Revolución (1969-1971)

Abstract

El problema que guía esta investigación es cómo se organiza el discurso teológico en los últimos números de Cristianismo y Revolución (C y R, en adelante), teniendo en cuenta la evolución de los artículos de contenido doctrinal y el contexto socio-histórico específico. En las secciones de la revista que abordaban la problemática religiosa, se puede advertir el pasaje del catolicismo renovador al cristianismo liberacionista. Siguiendo la misma serie de correspondencias, existe un deslizamiento de la nueva teología conciliar a una teología de la violencia, que interviene directamente en el debate político. Para demostrar esta hipótesis de trabajo observaremos la columna ?Teología?, analizando la relación entre violencia, fines y medios en los artículos de Jalles Costa, Olivier Maillard, Jurgen Moltmann, Rubén Dri, Hernán Benítez y José María González Ruiz. La metodología empleada combina los aportes de la Sociología y la Teoría política con la recolección de testimonios mediante las técnicas de la Historia Oral.

The problem of this research is the organisation of the theological discourse in recent issues of Christianity and Revolution (C Y R, and up), taking into account the evolution of doctrinal content articles and specific socio-historical context. In sections of the magazine that addressed the question of religion, it can be noted the passage of refreshing Catholicism to the liberationist Christianity. Following the same number of matches, there is a shift of the new conciliar theology to the theology of violence, directly involved in the political debate. To prove this working hypothesis we observe the column "Theology", analyzing the relationship between violence, ends and means in the articles of Jalles Costa, Olivier Maillard, Jurgen Moltmann, Ruben Dri, Hernán Benítez and José María González Ruiz. The methodology combines the contributions of sociology and political theory with evidence collection by the techniques of oral history.
