Más allá del pensamiento crítico. El trabajo sobre pensamiento y emoción en la formación docente

Abstract

El texto describe las características de un dispositivo de formación que tiene como objetivo el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico para la transformación de las prácticas docentes en Argentina. Se espera que resulte un aporte que movilice la reflexión de quienes tienen a su cargo la difícil tarea de formar maestros. En primer lugar se explicitan los principios de los que partimos: cómo entendemos la formación y su vínculo con la práctica docente, cuál es la definición de pensamiento crítico que adoptamos, así como la relación entre práctica, pensamiento crítico y formación. En segundo lugar se describe el dispositivo de formación diseñado. Se señalan sus características, especialmente las actividades que involucran el pensamiento crítico. Por último se consideran aspectos del rol del formador que se desempeña en este tipo de dispositivos, teniendo en cuenta las dificultades que conllevan.

The paper describes the characteristics of a teaching education device that was intended to promote the development of critical thinking and the transformation of teaching practices in Argentina. It is expected it will result in a contribution to mobilize reflection of those in charge of the difficult task of training teachers. First the principles from which we start are stated: how to understand teaching education and its relationship with teaching practice, what is the definition of critical thinking we adopt, and the relationship between practice, critical thinking and teaching education. Secondly, the teaching education device is described. Characteristics are identified, particularly activities involving critical thinking. Finally, we consider aspects of the role of the trainer who works on these devices, given the difficulties involved.
