¿Qué puede un texto en ciencias sociales? Reflexividad y escritura

Abstract

Este texto tiene como propósito reflexionar sobre la escritura en las ciencias sociales. A partir de la experiencia en el Círculo Narrar las violencias, se reflexiona sobre la relación entre literatura no académica y la escritura científica. Se destacan las estrategias narrativas de la ficción como una vía para pensar cómo se narran y conceptualizan las violencias en la academia. La literatura permite cuestionar los límites entre descripción, moralidad y análisis conceptual, y habilita ejercicios de descentramiento que enriquecen la labor investigativa. El artículo concluye que la reflexividad sobre la escritura y los marcos teóricos en los que se inscribe el investigador es fundamental para mejorar la producción de conocimiento.

The objective of this text is to provide a reflective analysis on the act of writing in the domain of the social sciences. Drawing from the experience of the Narrating Violence Circle, this study explores the relationship between non-academic literature and scientific writing. The present study explores the use of narrative strategies in fiction as a means to examine the portrayal and conceptualization of violence in academic discourse. Literature facilitates the interrogation of boundaries between description, morality, and conceptual analysis, while also enabling exercises that promote decentering, thereby enriching research endeavors. The article's conclusion asserts the fundamental role of reflexivity in writing and the theoretical frameworks that shape the researcher's perspective in enhancing knowledge production.
