Paisaje Tecnologico en el Sudeste Atlantico de Tierra del Fuego (Argentina)

Abstract

En arqueología ha sido ampliamente demostrado que el análisis de la organización tecnológicaconstituye una herramienta fundamental para definir redes de interacción social y conexiones entrediferentes grupos. El objetivo del presente trabajo es definir el paisaje tecnológico de los gruposhumanos que habitaron la porción sur oriental de la costa atlántica de Tierra del Fuego durante elHoloceno Tardío, considerando la integridad de los conjuntos, las materias primas, los diseños y losusos, mediante la aplicación del análisis morfo-técnico y el análisis funcional de base microscópica

In archaeology it has been widely demonstrated that the analysis of technological organisation is a fundamental tool for defining networks of social interaction and connections between different groups. The aim of this paper is to define the technological landscape of the human groups that inhabited the southeastern portion of the Atlantic coast of Tierra del Fuego during the Late Holocene, considering the integrity of the lithic assemblages, the raw materials exploited, the designs and the context of use through the application of morpho-technical and use-wear analysis. The results obtained allow to identify the internal variability of technological practices and to establish some connections with the technology developed by the different groups that occupied the island
