Lengua-lugar y lengua-hogar: Aportes teóricos para abordar la movilidad humana en contextos educativos

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es brindar aportes teóricos para ampliar el abordaje de problemáticas migratorias en contextos educativos. Estos aportes atañen a la dimensión lingüística que afecta los sujetos que transitan espacios de formación social y académica en contextos entre lenguas. Las experiencias de extrañamiento frente al modo de hablar de un Otro suceden desde el sujeto migrante tanto como desde el sujeto autóctono. Partimos de los resultados de un estudio previo desarrollado en Argentina enmarcado teóricamente en el análisis de discurso franco-brasileño. De ese modo, buscamos deslindar y ampliar los alcances de los conceptos de lengua-lugar y lengua-hogar, cuyo foco está en reponer la dimensión subjetiva en el nombramiento de las lenguas que acompañan el sujeto en su movimiento. Las bases teóricas aportadas apuntan a fortalecer la mirada hacia la dimensión lingüística implicada en la movilidad humana, tema que en ocasiones es eludido en los estudios migratorios.

The aim of this work is to provide theoretical contributions to broaden the approach to migration issues in educational contexts. These contributions concern the linguistic dimension that affects the subjects that transit social and academic formation in contexts between languages. The experiences of estrangement in the face of the Other’s way of speaking occur both from the migrant subject and from the autochthonous subject. We start from the results of a previous study carried out in Argentina theoretically framed in the FrancoBrazilian discourse analysis. In this way, we seek to define and broaden the scope of the concepts of house-language and home-language, whose focus is on replenishing the subjective dimension in the naming of the languages that accompany the subject in its movement. The theoretical bases provided aim to strengthen the look towards the linguistic dimension involved in human mobility, an issue that is sometimes sidestepped in migration studies.
