Leer Malvinas desde los bordes: Cruces entre la literatura para niños y jóvenes y el teatro

Abstract

En el 2022 se cumplieron cuarenta años de la guerra de Malvinas, conflicto bélico que enfrentó a la Argentina con Gran Bretaña durante 74 días. Sin embargo, la presencia de las islas en ámbitos disímiles como el político, el económico, el social y el cultural de nuestro país atraviesa nuestra historia reciente y no tan reciente. En el mismo sentido, la emergencia de Malvinas en la literatura y las artes también antecede a la guerra, aunque encuentra a partir de ella nuevas configuraciones de sentido que vinculan a esta narrativa con la de la posdictadura.Estudiar tales textos implica atender de qué diferentes maneras Malvinas es construida y reconstruida durante la posguerra. A cuarenta y dos años de la Guerra de Malvinas nos proponemos leer Malvinas desde los bordes. Para dicha tarea trazamos un primer acercamiento, de carácter comparativo, es decir, atento a fenómenos de convergencia pero también de divergencia, entre el teatro y la literatura destinadas a las infancias y juventudes en las que se narra o se pone en escena Malvinas. Para ello partiremos de una introducción en torno a Malvinas como hecho simbólico, para luego pasar a describir brevemente las singularidades de cada caso. Finalmente, estableceremos una serie de conexiones entre ambos campos.

In 2022, forty years have passed since the Malvinas War, a military conflict that pitted Argentina against Great Britain for 74 days. However, the presence of the islands in dissimilar spheres such as the political, economic, social and cultural of our country runs through our recent and not so recent history. In the same sense, the emergence of Malvinas in literature and the arts also precedes the war, although it finds new configurations of meaning that link this narrative with that of the postdictatorship. Studying such texts implies attending to the different ways Malvinas is built and rebuilt during the postwar period. Forty-two years after the Malvinas War, we propose to read Malvinas from the edges. For this task we draw a first approach, of a comparative nature, that is, attentive to phenomena of convergence but also divergence, between theater and literature intended for childhood and youth in which Malvinas is narrated or staged. To do this, we will start with an introduction about the Malvinas as a symbolic fact, and then go on to briefly describe the singularities of each case. Finally, we will establish a series of connections between both fields.
