Lenguaje inclusivo de género: un instrumento para el análisis de representaciones, percepciones y usos

Abstract

En los últimos años el uso del lenguaje inclusivo de género ha tenido una difusión creciente en Argentina. En particular, su uso y regulación dentro del marco educativo ha generado amplios debates al interior de las comunidades educativas del país. Si bien han surgido varias publicaciones sobre el fenómeno, la mayoría se centra en discutir y analizar desde distintos enfoques el tipo de cambio lingüístico que representa, pero son escasos los estudios sistemáticos sobre los usos y representaciones vinculadas al lenguaje inclusivo de género informadas por sus hablantes. Por este motivo, es necesario contar con instrumentos de análisis adecuados que puedan analizar el fenómeno de forma integral. En este artículo presentamos una herramienta de recolección de datos, en formato de encuesta, que puede ser utilizada para registrar la percepción del sesgo de género en fragmentos textuales, la valoración del uso del lenguaje inclusivo de género de acuerdo con el ámbito, argumentos en contra de su uso, y reflexiones sobre el uso a nivel personal.

In recent years, the use of gender-inclusive language has been growing in Argentina. In particular, its use and regulation within the educational sphere have generated wide-ranging debates within the country's academic communities. Although there have been several publications on the phenomenon, most focus on discussing and analyzing the type of linguistic change it represents from different approaches. There are few systematic studies on the uses and representations related to gender-inclusive language reported by the speakers themselves. For this reason, adequate analytical tools must be used to analyze the phenomenon comprehensively. In this paper, we present a data collection instrument, in survey format, that can be used to register the perception of gender bias in textual fragments, the valorization of the use of gender-inclusive language according to the setting, arguments against its use, and insights about its use at a personal level.
