Levantar la mirada y ver al compañero: reflexiones sobre el rol de la práctica futbolística en un proyecto de Educación Popular con niñxs

Abstract

Este escrito analiza desde una perspectiva etnográfica el rol cumplido por la práctica futbolística dentro de un espacio de Educación Popular autogestivo que trabaja con niñxs en el sur del conurbano boanerense. A modo de prisma, ese taller deportivo permitió reflexionar sobre las ideas que van construyendo niñxs y adolescentes sobre las edades y los géneros, los espacios que transitan y su relación con los entornos que les rodean así como sus actores. Por otro lado, la práctica deportiva se presenta como un elemento central en la constitución de vínculos comunitarios que reformulan algunas de estas relaciones adultocéntricas y se presenta como un modo de sociabilizar y habitar espacios por parte de lxs niñxs que remodelan viejos estigmas que recaen sobre las infancias pobres urbanas.

This paper analyzes from an ethnographic perspective the role played by soccer practice within a self-managed Popular Education space that works with children in the south of the Boanerense conurbation. As a prism, this sports workshop allowed us to reflect on the ideas that children and adolescents construct about age and gender, the spaces they move through and their relationship with the environments that surround them as well as their actors. On the other hand, the practice of sports is presented as a central element in the constitution of community bonds that reformulate some of these adult-centered relationships and is presented as a way for children to socialize and inhabit spaces that reshape old stigmas that fall on poor urban childhoods.
