This article addresses the experiences of the territory from the perspective of young people who are part of Latin American migrant families and attend secondary school in the Buenos Aires suburbs (Argentina). It is the product of a collaborative investigation that set out to subvert the place of enunciation, addressing youth ways of inhabiting, traveling and producing territories that unfold from the streets and the neighborhood where their school is located to their hometowns and towns, and the multiple routes traveled throughout their life. In this exercise of inquiry, we give centrality to the production of their own cartographies, to the creation of their own maps, illustrations and stories. In this way, we seek to support a biographical and generational perspective, understanding the latter as an indispensable condition for the appropriation and production of knowledge that manages to challenge the constitutive asymmetries of the production of geographical knowledge today.
