"Tira con tirita y ojal con botón": Memoria, imaginación y afectos para contar el exilio de la infancia

Abstract

En Argentina la emergencia -desde mediados de los años 2000- de diversas narrativas de corte autobiográfico o autoficcional producidas por quienes vivieron el exilio durante la infancia, permitió visibilizar aspectos poco abordados de esta experiencia, así como del retorno y el no retorno. En este artículo nos detendremos en la singular mirada “de” y “desde” las infancias que estas narrativas proponen, ofreciendo un punto de vista singular acerca del exilio. Retomaremos también aportes de la historia de la infancia para recuperar ciertas marcas comunes de esta niñez vivida en tiempos de dictadura y dar cuenta de los modelos de crianza en conflicto. Por último nos referiremos a ciertas estrategias enunciativas y estéticas que permiten a las artistas -desde su presente adulto- resignificar ese pasado traumático, poniendo en juego una potencia creativa y transformadora que pareciera abrevar en los recuerdos, sensaciones, fantasías y sueños de las niñas que fueron. Este recorrido habilita nuevas lecturas respecto a la posibilidad de agencia de niñas y niños en el marco de contextos represivos, e invita a leer sus memorias y prácticas como pequeños gestos de resistencia.

Since the mid-2000s in Argentina the emergence of various autobiographical or autofictional narratives produced by those who lived in exile during childhood, made visible little addressed aspects of this experience, as well as of return and non-return. In this article, we will focus on the singular view “of ” and “from” childhoods that these narratives propose, offering a unique point of view about exile. We will also take up contributions from the history of childhood to recover certain common marks of this childhood lived in times of dictatorship and to account for the models of upbringing in conflict. Finally, we will refer to certain enunciative and aesthetic strategies that allow the artists −from their adult present− to resignify that traumatic past, bringing into play a creative and transformative power that seems to be rooted in the memories, sensations, fantasies and dreams of the girls they were. This journey enables new readings regarding the possibility of agency of girls and boys in the context of repressive contexts, and invites us to read their memories and practices as small gestures of resistance.
