Resumen
The Neuquén Basin is one of the most studied hydrocarbon basins in Argentina and contains many of the most important unconventional reservoirs worldwide. In recent years, new invaluable geochronological and chronostratigraphical data were provided from this basin, pointing out that there is still much knowledge to be produced. This Special Issue focused on recent contributions toward understanding the geology, paleontology, stratigraphy, structure, and the tectonic, magmatic and sedimentary evolution of the Neuquén Basin. This special issue arose with great effort after the COVID pandemic and includes seven novel articles that deal with different aspects of the Neuquén Basin.
