La creación de un espacio de socialización lingüística junto con niños de Corrientes, Argentina

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la creación de un espacio de socialización de niños e investigadora como hablantes de guaraní. Inicialmente se describe el contexto sociolingüístico provincial, para luego reconstruir cómo se produce el espacio de “el mástil” dentro del escenario cotidiano de una escuela. Se recuperan específicamente los usos, identificaciones, reflexiones metalingüísticas sobre el guaraní y también las actitudes respecto a la escritura de la lengua nativa. La producción de este espacio puso en evidencia por lo menos tres cuestiones. En primer lugar, que aquello que se enseña, aprende y comparte en la escuela en torno a las lenguas no solo ocurre dentro de las aulas. En segundo lugar, que los niños pueden ocupar roles activos en los procesos de socialización como guaraní hablantes al construir, interpretar y transformar activamente sus prácticas lingüísticas. Por último, el artículo también intenta mostrar las fortalezas de la investigación en colaboración como instrumento de intervención sociolingüística, ya que posibilita acompañar y producir en interacción los procesos sociales que investigamos.

This article analyzes the creation of a socialization space for children and researcher as Guaraní speakers. Initially, a provincial sociolinguistic context is described in order to reconstruct how “the flagpole” space is produced in the daily scene of a school. The uses, identification, metalinguistic reflections are specifically retrieved about Guaraní, the attitude regarding the writing of the native language as well. The production of this space revealed at least three issues. Firstly, that everything that is taught, learnt and shared in school about languages does not only occur in the classrooms. Secondly, that children can play active roles in socialization processes as Guaraní speakers by actively constructing, interpreting and transforming their linguistic practices. Lastly, the article also tries to show the strengths of collaborative research as an instrument of sociolinguistic intervention, since it enables the accompanying and production of the social processes we research while interacting.
