De la etnoeducación a la escuela agrotécnica: El reconocimiento del contexto como escenario de aprendizaje

Abstract

El presente artículo de reflexión tiene por objetivo mostrar el reconocimiento del contexto como escenario de aprendizaje a partir de experiencias educativas llevadas adelante en diferentes contextos y con disímiles destinatarios. Concretamente, expondré la experiencia colombiana de etnoeducación para luego examinar analogías y diferencias para que puedan encontrarse con otra experiencia educativa: la escuela agrotécnica El Huaco (Andalgalá, Catamarca), también dependiente del Ministerio de Educación. Reconociendo que los proyectos de etnoeducación buscan visibilizar saberes que han sido negados y desarticular una cierta jerarquía de saberes, y más allá de la especificidad de cada propuesta y reconociendo que no están libres de tensiones, ambas se configuran como espacios de encuentro y escenarios de aprendizaje que buscan reaprender el sentido de conocer y valorar el trabajo de y con la tierra; en el caso de la escuela agrotécnica, en un contexto cada más urbanizado. En suma, atraviesa esta necesidad de conocimiento la persistencia de la colonialidad y la retórica de la modernidad en nuestros días.

The objective of this article of reflection is to show the recognition of the context as a learning scenario based on educational experiences carried out in different contexts and with dissimilar audiences. Specifically, I will present the Colombian experience of ethnoeducation and then examine analogies and differences so that they can find another educational experience: the El Huaco agrotechnical school (Andalgalá, Catamarca), also dependent on the Ministry of Education. Recognizing that ethnoeducation projects seek to make visible knowledge that has been denied and disarticulate a certain hierarchy of knowledge, and beyond the specificity of each proposal and recognizing that they are not free of tensions, both are configured as meeting spaces and learning scenarios who seek to relearn the meaning of knowing and valuing the work of and with the land; in the case of the agrotechnical school, in an increasingly urbanized context. In short, this need for knowledge cuts across the persistence of coloniality and the rhetoric of modernity today.
