Reescritura y autorreflexión en Jasón ha perdido el tiempo: (Farsa trágica para eruditos a la violeta)" de Arturo Berenguer Carisomo

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la reescritura del mito de los argonautas, en la obra Jasón ha perdido el tiempo. (Farsa trágica para eruditos a la violeta) (1989), del dramaturgo argentino Arturo Berenguer Carisomo. En la pieza, la recuperación del mito elige la farsa, la ironía y el humor, como claves dramáticas antilusionistas y de ruptura genérica, para redefinir nuevos sentidos en la representación de las historias asociadas al ciclo mítico de los argonautas, la caracterización de los protagonistas y el accionar de las divinidades olímpicas. Además, y en sintonía con estos evidentes vínculos intertextuales, la obra propone -desde la metateatralidad expresada por la mise en abyme- una autorreflexión burlesca, en clave argentina, sobre las circunstancias intervinientes en la propia puesta teatral.

This paper analyzes the rewriting of the myth of the Argonauts, in the work Jason has lost time. (Tragic farce for Pseudo-Intellectuals) ( 1989), by the Argentine playwrightArturo Carisomo Berenguer. In the piece, the recovery ofthe myth chooses the farce, irony and humor, as dramatic, anti-illusion keys and of generic break up, to redefine new directions in the representation of the stories associated with the mythical cycle ofthe Argonauts, the characterization ofthe protagonists and actions ofthe Olympian deities. In addition, and in line with these obvious intertextuallinks, the work proposes -from the metatheatricality expressed by the mise en abyme- a mocking self-reflection in Argentine key on the circumstances involved in the play performance.
