Abriéndose paso entre arte y cultura: trayectorias de educadoras en el interior de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina, años veinte y treinta)

Abstract

El presente artículo reúne las trayectorias de tres educadoras del interior bonaerense que, a partir de los años veinte del siglo XX, comenzaron a irrumpir con fuerza más allá de las aulas. Presentamos así a Leticia Ciancio, Emilia Bettinelli y María Alejandra Urrutia Artieda a partir del entrecruzamiento entre la historia de la educación con perspectiva de género y la historia cultural e indagamos sobre sus condiciones de posibilidad en contexto, junto a las dificultades de acceso a archivos y documentos. Sostenemos que dicho tratamiento da cuenta de nuevas cronologías posibles de/con mujeres para el interior de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en el período en cuestión. Como resultado podemos vislumbrar cómo estas mujeres estuvieron presentes en la esfera pública a partir de su función como educadoras y pudieron extender de esta manera sus redes e intercambios ligados al mundo del arte y la cultura, más allá de las aulas.

This article brings together the trajectories of three educators from the interior of Buenos Aires who, starting in the twenties of the 20th century, began to break through strongly beyond the classrooms. Thus, we present Leticia Ciancio, Emilia Bettinelli and María Alejandra Urrutia Artieda from the intersection between the History of Education with a gender perspective and Cultural History and we inquire about their conditions of possibility in context, together with the difficulties of access to archives and documents. We maintain that this treatment accounts for new possible chronologies of/with women for the interior of the Province of Buenos Aires in the period in question. As a result, we can glimpse how these women were present in the public sphere from their role as educators and were thus able to extend their networks and exchanges linked to the world of art and culture, beyond the classroom.
