La violencia como experiencia (o el pelear en las barras argentina)

Abstract

Las siguientes páginas pretenden ser un aporte a las discusiones en torno al fenómeno de “la violencia” en general y las peleas de las “barras bravas” argentinas vinculadas al fútbol masculino en particular. Para ello, tomaré el caso de la barra del Club Atlético Belgrano de Córdoba autoidentificada como Los Piratas. Las comparaciones en torno al pelear se basan en tres modos generacionales. Reconstruyo una periodización nativa fundada en testimonios de varios miembros de Los Piratas que corresponden a diferentes momentos históricos. El artículo se estructura, entonces, a partir de una superposición interactiva de los siguientes procesos: las dinámicas de las peleas, sus condiciones de legitimidad, la estructura organizativa del colectivo y el peso relativo que dicha vivencia ocupa en cada generación. Al final del texto se propone pensar al pelear en tanto experiencia, es decir, como un saber, una vivencia y un testimonio que jerarquiza iguales e identifica diferentes.

The following pages are a contribution to the discussions on the phenomenon of “violence” in general and the fights of the Argentinean “barras bravas” linked to men’s football in particular. To this end, I will take the case of a group of fans known as “Los Piratas” (The Pirates), who are “la barra” of the “Club Atletico Belgrano de Córdoba”. Comparisons relating to the experience of fighting are based on three generational modes. A native periodization is reconstructed based on testimonies of several members of the “La barra de Los Piratas” corresponding to different historical moments. The article is organized on the basis of an interactive overlap of the following processes: the dynamics of the fights, their conditions of legitimacy, the organizational structure of the group and the relative weight this experience occupies in each generation. At the end of the text, fighting is proposed to be considered as an experience, that is, as knowledge, an event and a testimony that ranks people equally and identifies those that are different.
