Trayectorias escolares entre generaciones: Puntos de encuentro y de distancia

Abstract

En el marco de una tesis de Maestría en Educación (FLACSO), este artículo da cuenta de algunos de sus resultados emergentes. Entre 2015 y 2018 se ha realizado una investigación cualitativa, a partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas a personas migrantes que residen en un barrio vulnerabilizado de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. El objetivo general consistió en analizar las vinculaciones entre experiencias migratorias, familiares, escolares en sujetos adultos y sus hijas/os. En este trabajo se presentan discusiones que recuperan la mirada de padres y madres migrantes en torno a prácticas escolares propias pasadas y de actuales de sus hijas/os. De allí se introducen sentidos y tensiones acerca del formato escolar, los aspectos más valorados, las similitudes y distancias respecto de sus trayectorias educativas y las de sus hijos/as, así como las relaciones que se establecen entre escuela y familia.

Within the framework of a master’s thesis, this paper shows some of it´s results. Between 2015 and 2018 it has been carried out a qualitative research, from semi structured interviews to migrants who live in a popular neighborhood in Buenos Aires city. The general goal was to analyze the relation between migrant, family and scholar experiences in adults and their children. In this work are showed some reflections that bring up the point of view of migrant´s parents about their own scholar practices and their children´s one. So to that, it is included senses and strains about school format, the most important aspects, the contact point and the distances between their own trajectories and their children´s one, as much as the relation built between school and family.
