La pandemia del COVID-19: ¿Es un acontecimiento?

Abstract

Utilizando términos distintos, pero apuntando un problema semejante, diversos autores desde Hegel en adelante, han tratado de comprender el acontecimiento. Se trata de pensar lo que por definición escapa a cualquier conceptualización. Tal vez, por esta razón, Heidegger, Deleuze, Žižek, entre tantos otros pensadores hayan buscado delimitar un régimen de verdad no científico para pensar el acontecimiento. Ahora bien, desde la coyuntura de pandemia actual, se nos impone reflexionar desde el campo filosófico, si la pandemia del COVID-19 puede ser pensada en relación al acontecimiento, y de este modo poder comprender sus implicancias. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo brindar elementos para poder avanzar en esta dirección.

Using different terms, but pointing to a similar problem, various authors from Hegel onwards have tried to understand the event. It is about thinking what by definition escapes any conceptualization. Perhaps, for this reason, Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Deleuze, Žižek, among many other thinkers, have sought to delimit a non-scientific truth regime to think about the event. Now, from the current pandemic situation, we are forced to reflect from the philosophical field, if the COVID-19 pandemic can be thought of in relation to the event, and thus be able to understand its implications. The objective of this article is to provide elements to be able to advance in this direction.
