Agenda policial y crimen político en la prensa popular: el diario Crónica durante la transición a la democracia en la Argentina (1982-1983)

Abstract

El estudio de la agenda policial de Crónica, durante la transición democrática en la Argentina (1982-1983), permitió identificar que las condiciones sociales e históricas de producción incidieron en el interés del diario por la inclusión de crímenes políticos en su oferta informativa, sin que esto alterara su contrato de lectura. Los resultados muestran que Crónica se asumió como fuente evaluativa de información para que su lectorado pudiera diferenciar los asesinatos con connotaciones políticas de aquellos que no tenían vinculación con la última Dictadura cívico militar.The stydy of the police agenda of the newspaper Crónica, during the democratic transition in Argentina (1982-1983), allowed to identify that the social and historical conditions of production influenced the interest of the newspaper for the inclusion of political crimes, although without altering its reading contract. The results obtained show that Crónica assumed as an evaluative source of information so that its readers could differentiate the murders with political connotations from those that had no connection with the dictatorship.
